A little about Wild Hearts & Halos...

Wild Hearts & Halos was created to inspire adventure and believes that travel propels growth, ignites outward compassion, invites self-discovery, encourages community and sparks passions to life ultimately molding us into the person we were fearfully and wonderfully made to be. Travel should never be done alone, but only with the cutest and most functional accessories. WH&H aspires to give you the most unique, carefully hand-crafted items to take with you as you wander; so explore the world in style, dear one and let your wild heart soar free.

Our Story

In an effort to raise the remaining funds for a missions trip to Africa in the summer of 2015, Krystal started making headbands to sell to her friends on social media. At the time, she was taking a sewing class as a hobby and completing her sewing certificate. In a short month or two, the headbands gained more interest and success than expected. Upon returning home from the trip, Krystal decided to follow her dream of owning a handmade product business and she launched Wild Hearts & Halos in 2017. Each "halo" is named after a different adventure/place/country inspired by her love to explore new places and travel the world. These halos are perfect for any wanderer wanting low-maintenance yet unique style while traveling. Every purchase gives back to artisans in Peru to empower them to live their best lives and provide for their children.

A little about the founder...

For as long as she can remember, founder Krystal Usher has had a passion for creating. This passion first led her to pursue a career in the hair industry in high school and she has been crafting beautiful hair ever since.

Always avoiding the corporate work environment, Krystal joined the entrepreneur life in 2014 and launched her independent hairstylist business Dapper in a Day fully realizing her need for versatility, creativity and freedom in her work life. Saying so long to security isn't always easy but in Krystal's opinion, following your passion and tuning into your unique strengths is the only way to truly live life to the fullest.

Krystal has always dreamed of owning a business selling her handmade creations, so she is beyond excited to see what the future holds for Wild Hearts & Halos.

In her free time, you can find Krystal hopping on a plane to a new third world country, hugging children, baking gluten free treats, snapping photos of whatever catches her eye, sunrise hiking, going to sculpt yoga, and riding her yellow beach cruiser along the beach in America's finest city.
